Tama Waipara

Tama (Ruapani/Rongowhakaata/Ngāti Porou) is a well-known musician, singer, songwriter and composer. Currently living in Gisborne, Tama is the Chief Executive Officer and Artistic Director of Te Tairāwhiti Arts Festival. Tama recently released a free download version of his single "East Coast Moon" featuring Maisey Rika. Tama composed the score for the #TFA hero video, featuring a note sung by Pene Pati.
